We are looking for you / Wir suchen Dich!
Lorry Driver
When you start work, we will train you. The training period takes about two weeks. During this time you will be driving with an experienced driver who will explain the work to you in German or English. In the process, you will learn important German phrases. You will also learn to operate the hand-held computer, the various delivery instructions and the main roads and companies that receive regular deliveries.
When you arrive here, you should have enough money to cover living expenses for 10 days. From then on you will receive a subsistence allowance of € 50 per week. If you come in your own vehicle, you can refuel after one week. The costs will be deducted from your salary. After arrival, you won’t need to make advance payments for anything.
At the end of the training period, you should be able to sort, load and drive a round alone. You will take around two hours longer than in the training period, but after four weeks of routine you will only need the normal amount of time.
Working in cargo transport is hard and demanding. If you are not in good shape, you will have sore muscles in the first three weeks.
A working day is broken down as follows: You will need around one and a half hours for processing in the morning (scanning pallets, loading vehicle, etc.). Then you will drive for approx. an hour to the target area. Your job will be to deliver or collect goods to or from 25 customers. Once you are fit and have mastered the round, you will need around five hours for this work. You then drive back to the depot. There, your work will consist of unloading the goods you have collected and transporting it to various gates once it has been sorted. This takes around one hour, plus around 30 minutes of waiting time. In total, you will be on the road for around eleven hours. You will be working a 5-day week. You will be free on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
If you satisfy the requirements above, your net earnings including expenses and allowances will be 2,100 euros per month for tax bracket I (single), or 2,300 euros per month for tax bracket III (married and your spouse is in Germany and not working). Please note that you will only earn this money if you drive the round in full, correctly and without any accidents. When you are then driving the round alone in the initial phase, but cannot yet drive the complete round, your earnings will be between € 1,400 and € 1,900 net per month. Salaries will always be calculated and paid by the 20th day of the following month.
We would also be delighted if you decide to bring your family over. We will then help you to find suitable accommodation. Net earnings rise to € 2,300 for married people because you are in tax bracket III. We also have work a opportunity for your spouse in the hours between 5 and around 7.30 in the morning. Gross earnings would be € 500, which is around € 470 net.
If you want to drive a car of your own, we will be happy to rent a vehicle to you for € 200 per month. This includes the vehicle rent, insurance, taxes and repairs. You only need to pay the fuel costs.
If you believe that you are suited to this job, we would be delighted to welcome you here.
